SETH + BRITTANY

In late July, I had the opportunity to photograph my brothers wedding ceremony. Everything about that day was so surreal and warm. Seth and Brittany chose to get married down by the Chattahoochee River at my grandparents house. It's a place that holds so much meaning to not only Seth, but Brittany too. My grandpa had a blueberry farm that backed right up to the river. Brittany is originally from Maine and as some of you may know, Maine is known for its' blueberries! I don't know about you, but that was a pretty cool coincidence to me. Sidney Roland's Blueberry Farm and the Chattahoochee River sure made for a perfect venue for these two!

The story that Seth and Brittany share together is one of many colors. Seth is a Marine and he is stationed in Jacksonville, NC. They met a couple years back through friendship and when life threw some curveballs their way, it was destined for them to spend it together. Brittany has a daughter, Presley, who is 4 years old. Being Seth's sister, I have watched him grow up and I know how he loves. I have never seen such a bond anything like the one he and Presley share. He loves that little girl with his whole heart. Living a military life can be challenging, but I know that with trust and commitment anything can be accomplished. For military purposes, Seth and Brittany actually got married through the court system in January of this year. They wanted a special day to share their vows with family and friends. It is such a beautiful story that these three share. Seth joined a family of two girls with now a third one on the way! I was over-the-moon happy to witness such joy from my brother on this wedding day.

The day was full of so much love! I was honored to be able to shoot my first wedding and it be my brothers! I hope you all feel as much happiness from these photos as I did. Congratulations Seth, Brittany & Presley!
